This week is Montgomery week!
This week is where terrier people from all over the world come to show their terriers on Sunday, Oct 4th and the shows prior to the 'Big One' as well!
Morris and Essex show is on Thursday. It is a HUGE show, over 4000 dogs entered and it is only held once every 5 years. Like the Kentucky Derby, hats are worn by the men and women, all kinds of beautiful hats! A box lunch is provided for ALL exhibitors, it is quite a show and although I am not there this year, Bacon (BISS GCH CH Temora Say It With Bacon) and Karma (Temora Cause & Effect) are there representing Temora kennels with Jackie Johnson handling them.

What a weekend! Saturdays show (Devon) was cancelled due to the rain, so Sunday was the last day AND the most important day, Montgomery! This is an all terrier show with over 2000 terriers entered world wide! If you have a terrier, this is where you want to be!
Bacon (BISS GCH CH Temora Say It With Bacon) was BEST OF BREED today!
Karma (Temora Cause & Effect) was Winners Bitch/Best of Winners for the 3 point major!
These were the only dogs representing Temora kennels and I have to say we did pretty good!
Very Happy and Proud of my dogs and THANK YOU to all that sent congrats to me! A HUGE thank you to Jackie Johnson for making this all happen too by taking on my goofy dog and for taking Karma to the show and letting her do her thing! I am THRILLED!

Judges are loving him and his attitude and I have already heard the comment on how they like 'this Special' over Jackie's last one.
Not dishing her last one, but judges DO know the difference between one dog and the next despite what some would say!

Waukesha Kennel Club has their show this weekend and I am Assistant Show Chair as well as Trophy Chair. This is my last year in these positions as I am resigning those positions to get into new endeavors. It was a fun weekend, but very long and tiring!

7-10-2015 to 7-19-2015
Been a busy couple of weekends for Temora Aussies
On the weekend of July 10th, we had Bitz & Pennie and Redi at the Kishwaukee shows.
Pennie won one day the breed and Bitz won the breed from the classes on the last day! Was surprised at that, but it gave her 2 points towards her AKC championship when she defeated Pennie!
Bacon was also showing and he and Jackie are starting to have fun, not that he was not prior to this, but he is starting to get the hang of what dogs shows are all about and is settling into his groove.
In the last 2 weekends he has won the breed each day and on the weekend of the 10th, he took a Group 4 and a Group 2 and repeated it this last weekend! This is pretty stellar when you consider that he is competing against other breeds that are handled by the top handlers in the country! Jackie and Bacon are holding their own in the ring and judges are LOVING them!
The most important thing is we are all having fun! This is a training year for Bacon and he is doing pretty good all things considered!

FUN weekend at the dog shows here in the USA!
Bacon was at the Kettle Morraine show in WI with Jackie. He was the only Aussie entered, and took a Group 3 under Frank Washabaugh on Sunday.
Nancy Tibbett was at the Lima shows with Reggie (Temora Rhythm and Blues). She was BEST OF BREED from the classes both Saturday and Sunday!
This win over the Special gives her TWO-3 POINT MAJORS!
HUGE feat for this team!
Reggie now has 3 majors!

We had quite a weekend at a local show here in Wisconsin!
it was a wonderful time and Nancy Tibbett came up with her boy Reggie (Temora Rhythm and Blues) and Judy was here with Tera (Temora Southern Comfort) and she also brought along our co-owned girl Redi (Temora Redi When You Are). Of course Bacon (GCH CH Temora Say It With Bacon) was there with Jackie! Cindy showed up with Walker (CH Temora Keeping Stride UD GO GN) as he was competing in the performance events.
Friday:
Reggie was WD/BW for his first point!
Tera was WB and this finishes her AKC Championship!
She is now: CH Temora Southern Comfort
Congratulations Judy & Tera!
Bacon topped off the day by winning a Group 2!

Saturday:
Reggie won his class.
Gator (Temora Unleash The Beast) was WD for a 3 point major! His first show!
Bitzy (Temora Bacon's Bitz) was WB/BW for a 3 point major! Her first show!
Redi (Temora Redi When You Are) was RWB.
Bacon was Best of Opposite. My poor boy was so distracted with all the bitches in season, I felt bad for him....
Walker had a stellar day as well!

This gave him his 1st UDX leg & 15 Obedience Master points!
He is in the big leagues now!

Busy weekend here and across the pond for Temora Terriers!

On Thursday, Pennie (CH Temora Almost Famous) and I went down to the Champaign IL shows.
Pennie did really good for her first time out as a Special.
She was BOB both days and on Thursday, she took a Group 4!

Also on the homefront, Karma (Temora Cause & Effect) was in shows as well through the weekend.
Her placings are as follows:

Group 2 on Saturday
Group 3 on Sunday
Outstanding placements for a one year old! Very proud of her and her owner Jose!

Across the pond, Rio (Temora Rhapsody in Blue) was entered in 2 shows on Sunday, something commonly done there, and something we are just starting here in the USA.
Rio won the Breed at both shows and the Group!
Again, totally amazing for a dog that is only a year old!

Walker showed today and got his Utility Dog Title. His score was 194.5 & 1st place. He also showed in Open B & qualified with a 196.

Another good day at the dog show!
We had Dana's girl Fleurie (Temora Bud and Blossom) go Winners Bitch again at the Maryland show.
Heather and Davids Boy (Temora Tops It With Bacon Bits) was 1st in his class! This is his third show to date so very happy for them! I am thinking that David and Heather have been bitten by the show bug!
Thank you to the warm welcome and guidance of all the Aussie people at the show. The East Coast people have been very helpful to both Dana, Heather and David and because of this, they are excited about showing and the breed! Kudos to all of you!

Walker and Cindy (CH Temora Keeping Stride UD GO GN) got a 193.5 in Open B today, but NQ'd in Utility B. The only thing he didn't do was the down on the signal exercise. Even the great ones have 'off' days!

At the same show as Walker was Carole and Kiera (Temora Where The Magic Lives) and she scored 91 in Novice Rally B!

Bacon (GCH CH Temora Say It With Bacon) was also out today at the Fond Du Lac shows. I went over to watch him in the group. He took a Group 4 under Judge Robert Shreve.

I watched him in the ring play with his pink pig, OMG does he love his pig! He has spectators laughing with his antics. Bacon is a very happy boy and shows beautifully for Jackie.

I have just spent the last week in Scotland with fellow breeder Sheila Stoddart and Mac (UK/AM GCH CH BISS Temora Ri Diercc). What a wonderful time! We went to National Terrier as well where Mac won the Dog CC and was BOS at the show. Also showing were Rio (Temora Rhapsody in Blue) and he went on to the puppy stakes and won a Puppy Group 4! Paris (UK/AM CH Temora's The Simple Life) was also shown in the Veteran Class and placed as well! It was a wonderful time and I have many photos to go through, but we did go down to the North Sea where the fishing boats are docked and had a nice photo shoot. I will be honest however, the highlight of the trip was that the minute Mac saw me, he remembered me! I have not seen him for a year, so it was a very emotional moment. I miss him terribly, but had a week to spend with him. He will be home at the end of this year and will not be leaving again.

What a very nice weekend it has been!

I did not have any dogs showing, but dogs coming from my kennel were showing in the USA as well as some sired by Mac!

On Saturday, Fleurie, Temora Bud & Blossom (out of Bull & Viki) owned and handled by Dana Radman Kruetzfeldt got her first point going Best of Winners, Best Puppy & Puppy Group 4 at the New Brunswick KC!

Also on Saturday, Angelo (one of Mac's first offspring) GCH CH Marble Arch the Corner Man was Best of Breed in FL and a Grp2! His half brother Garbh (Temora Mac Eanric) was Winners Dog.

In Germany, Anke' Sutterlin's Mac puppies were in their first show, both dog and bitch won their class and her boy was Best Junior!

Luci and Redi (Temora Redi When You Are) were together at the show and they were BOB puppy and Terrier Puppy Group2!
Then Luci went onto the Junior class and was BEST JUNIOR IN SHOW!

Garbh (Temora Mac Eanric) was shown at the Lakeland FL shows Saturday and Sunday and won both days!
He was WD/BW for two- 3 point majors!

Mac (UK/AM BISS GCH CH Temora Ri Dercc), Rio (Temora Rhapsody In Blue) and Paris (UK/AM CH Temora's The Simple Life) were at the Upper ward of Lanarkshire shows in Scotland on Saturday.
Mac - Best of Breed and Terrier Group 2!
Paris - 1st Terrier Veteran and Best Terrier Veteran
Rio - 2nd in class (Mac won over Rio, remember they are father and son!) 1st Terrier Aussie Puppy, 1st Terrier Puppy in Group AND RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!!

On Sunday it was just Rio and he was BEST OF BREED, TERRIER GROUP 1, TERRIER PUPPY GROUP 1 and then RESERVE BEST PUPPY IN SHOW!

I do not know if the day can get any better than this!
Congrats to everyone and thank you all for a wonderful day! I did not show a single dog, but it was a highlight I will remember watching others have such fun with Temora Australian Terriers!
